Origin
Kumon founder, Mr Toru Kumon, was a high school Mathematics teacher. His son could not get high marks in Mathematics and so Mr Toru Kumon tailor-made Mathematics worksheets for his son according to his ability. His son kept doing worksheets daily on schedule continually, and as a result, his son could solve the high school admission test's differentiation question. This made him believe such systematic learning method and worksheets could explore children's potential effectively, and this is how the story of Kumon Method began.
Kumon spreads globally in over 50 countries and regions with over 4.3 million students. Kumon has been established in Hong Kong and Macao for more than 30 years.
